RULES & AMENITIES

• Deposit Policy:

  • There are no refunds for deposits, however, we can reschedule your reservation date.

• Guests:

  • ​ are not permitted on premises, unless prior approval has been received by Management. See miscellaneous rates for additional charges.

• Smoking:

  • is not permitted in the cottages.

• Beer bottles or glass products: 

  • are not allowed on the grounds of the property they are to be kept inside your cottage we strongly encourage plastic cups to be used when you are outside of your cottage.

• Check-In:

  • Check-in is at 4:00 pm. Early or late check-in can be arranged if the rent is paid in full. Check-In is at 184 Horseshoe Lake Road location. Please tell us in advance what time you planning on checking in so that we can be onsite to meet you, text (705) 346-2707. In cases of off-hour arrivals, the cottage key will be accessible in a ‘lock box’ located on your cottage door.

• Check-Out:

  • At 10:00 am. A $150 fee will apply if keys are not returned upon check-out. (Check-in & out times are flexible during non-peak periods upon request.)

• Parking:

  • ​Parking Limitations:

    • Cottages - 1 car.

    • Additional cars: $25.00/day - $65.00/week

      • ​​Please advise management about the number of cars you will be bringing.

• Accommodations:

  • ​Each Cottage is equipped with queen beds, single beds, a pull-out bed/futon, kitchen table & chairs, TV (No Cable), Wi-Fi, a fridge, stove, microwave, basic cutlery & dinnerware, and pots and pans.**

  • Propane for the BBQ is available for a fee, or you can bring your own propane tank.

• Life Safety Equipment: 

  • ​Misuse of Fire Extinguishers or smoke detector will result in a $250 deduction from your security deposit and a possible fine from the City.

• What to Bring:

  • Toiletries, towels, garbage bags, dish soap, coffee maker, cleaning products, and special pots or pans.

• Noise:

  • The district of Parry Sound has a noise restriction bylaw between 5:00 pm to 7:00 am – Anyone making excessive noise or participating in inappropriate behavior, will be asked to leave the property and not receive a refund on any portion of their payment. We do not allow boom box systems or loudspeakers to be used on the property. We are not telling you to stop playing your music only to keep it at a reasonable level.

• Housekeeping:

  • ​Please return the cottage to its original state. A $40 to $100 per unit housekeeping charge will apply, and additional charges over and above the stated amount may exceed for more significant housekeeping needs (i.e. unwashed dishes, bodily fluids, smoke odors, etc.) 

• Damages:

  • Any damages to the cottage, furniture, or property will be deducted from your security deposit. Damages that exceed your initial security deposit will be charged to your credit card and brought to the attention of the local authorities.

• Energy:

  • Remember to turn off the lights, heating, a/c, etc. before leaving the cottage – help conserve energy!

• Lost or Stolen Items:

  • TerraWoods Muskoka Shores is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items.

• Identification:

  • For security purposes, you will be asked to provide a valid government photo ID at check-in. You will be asked to sign a risk agreement form on checking-in. If you need to see this form in advance we can email it to you.​

• Internet/Wi-Fi:

  • There is Wi-Fi access on our entire property.

• Garbage:

  • Please avoid leaving garbage outside.

• Snow Removal: 

  • We have a company who will clean our driveway from the entrance to the back of the property, you are responsible for cleaning your deck and walkway we will provide you with a snow shovel.
